Where will Richmond Oktoberfest Take Place?
The 39th Richmond Oktoberfest will take place in the heated/air conditioned Exhibition Hall at the Richmond Showplace in the City of Richmond, Virginia on Friday, October 24th and Saturday October 25th, 2008. Easily accessible from nearby Interstates 95 & 64.

Will we be able to smoke?
By order of the Fire Marshall, this is a smoke free building. A smoking area is available outside the building.

When do the festivities begin?
The doors will open at 6:00 PM and close at 12:30 AM, both nights.

How do we qualify to win the door pirze?
Admittance ticket prices are $8.00 if purchased in advance, and $10.00 at the door. Admittance only is free to children aged 15 and under when accompanied by a ticket holding adult. Included in every ticket purchased is entry into the hall, and a chance to win in a door prize drawing. Door prize winner is announced Saturday night (Note: you need not be present to win, and stein's are not included in the ticket price this year).

How do we pay for things?
German food, beverages, breads and pastries, and souvenir are available for purchase. Purchases are made with Oktoberfest food tickets exchanged for US currency within the Hall. Please note: Oktoberfest food tickets not valid at some souvenir merchandise vending booths (please ask before making souvenir purchases).

Who are the Featured Entertainers?
The featured band is the "Die Lustigen Almdudler".

How do we purchase tickets through the mail?
To purchase tickets through the mail, and for you to receive your admission tickets through the mail on time, all reservations and payment for tickets must be received no later than October 13th, 2008 if tickets must be mailed out of the local Richmond area. Or if you prefer, you can request that your admission tickets be held for you at the door. Please specify which night you are purchasing tickets for and remember to include a name and address under which you wish to have them saved for you.

On site security is provided by local Police Officers.
Parking is free and lighted.
No Refunds.
Not Responsible for lost or stolen items.
No Alcohol under age 21. & No ABC Off premises.
No alcoholic beverages of any kind are permitted to be brought into the event.
Wine, Beer, Soft Drinks, Bottled Water, and Coffee are available for purchase.
All tickets good for night of purchase only.
Group seating reservations can be made for both Friday and Saturday nights. If you wish to place a seating reservation, a minimum of 8 seats must be reserved and payment of tickets must be received at time of reservation.
